Step 1
Reserve a whole or half hog by placing a non-refundable deposit of $250 for a whole hog, or $150 for a half hog. Available processing dates and hog breeds will be listed in the store.
Step 2
Two weeks prior to scheduled processing date submit completed Harmon Homestead standard cut selection sheet. Additional processing such as sausage preparation, curing or smoking is available for additional cost.
Step 3
On day of harvest, hogs will be transported to the processor and will be dispatched right away. It is very important to us that these pigs live a happy life with one, very brief bad day.
Custom butchering will take around 1 week, unless additional processing has been ordered.
Butchered meat will be vacuum sealed, frozen and individually marked with the cut.
